About The Work
Scott Plank saw immense potential in his alma mater, the University of Maryland College Park, and all that it could offer to local innovators, creatives, students, philanthropists and entrepreneurs. That is how the idea for The Hall CP was born. Along with his development and real estate investment firm, War Horse Cities, Scott partnered with local developers Chesapeake Realty Partners, Baltimore builders PI.KL Studios and event planner and interior designer Stephanie Bradshaw to turn The Hall CP into a reality.
The innovative arts, food, music and entertainment venue opened in early January 2020 and features a production space, a restaurant, a music venue, a rehearsal and performance space and a courtyard, making it the perfect indoor and outdoor space to spark your next greatest idea. The Hall CP offers 20,000 square feet of dynamic space catered to collaboration and celebration of the arts and innovation. College students, recent college graduates, local entrepreneurs and the whole College Park neighborhood are invited to satisfy their hunger for knowledge and incredible food at this creative built environment located in the heart of College Park’s Discovery District.

“The Hall CP stems from a long-standing relationship between War Horse Cities and WeWork, resulting in an incredibly simple and successful concept that similarly brought the arts and tech communities together in a unique way in San Francisco. Now, we’re bringing that concept to the heart of College Park.”
